Mamas Who Breathe exists to help mothers and nurturers reclaim space to pause, reset, and reach inward — not just in the moments they need it, but as a daily practice.


We guide mamas in cultivating the tools, rituals, and mindset to care for themselves holistically, so they can show up more fully for the families they are building.

Vision

We envision a world where mothers are no longer expected to pour from empty cups.
In this world, mamas are full — seen, heard, and held.

They are grounded in their own well-being, honored in their humanity, and empowered to lead their families from a place of alignment and self-trust.

Mamas Who Breathe is a movement of women who know the family they’re creating starts with them. We are redefining motherhood — one breath, one practice, one mama at a time.

About me

I’m Vella Ellerbe your Holistic Wellness Practitioner, Mastery Coach, and recently, coined the Postpartum Midwife—for 10 years now I’ve supported mothers to rebirth themselves through early postpartum and stay connected to SELF through motherhood.

My journey into holistic wellness began in a time of deep struggle, leading me to discover the power of self-care, healing, and inner balance. As I embraced these practices, they became my lifeline, helping me reconnect with self-love and purpose. For the past eight years, I’ve dedicated myself to guiding fellow mamas on their own healing journeys, understanding firsthand the challenges, doubts, and emotional weight that motherhood can bring.

That’s why I created this wellness community—a sanctuary of support, understanding, and sisterhood. Here, we share our stories, uplift one another, and navigate this journey together with compassion and authenticity. Healing is possible, and it starts with giving ourselves the love and care we truly deserve.
